I'm no engineer, but I think your estimate for the monorail is a taaaaaad bit off. Check out WVU's PRT costs just to compare...

From wikipedia "...it was not until 1974 that the system had matured technically. Construction of the first guideway in Morgantown started that year, and was completed the next. The "Phase I" system consisted of 5.2 miles (8.4 km) of guideway, 45 vehicles, 3 stations and a maintenance/control facility and cost $62 million.[6] There were large cost overruns during the initial development of the system.[7][8] The system began operations in 1975, with a total expenditure over $60 million, four times the estimate."

60 mil, in 1974.

That's in the mountains and crap.

Valid point. Much cheaper when it's a straight shot.

Aren't Monorails like VCR's?  When VCR's first came out they were super expensive, now you get one free with a new checking account.

If monorail isn't feasible, let's do gondolas instead.

Thoughts on what the demo of the new WSC will be like in 20 years when we need to expands premium seating once more. I think laser cutting will be involved and maybe some primitive transporter tech as well. Thoughts?

Demolish it and build a brand new stadium in City Park next to Aggieville where it should be.

in 2002 the jacksonville monorail cost 88 mil per mile to build  :blank:

okay maybe instead of a monorail we can have the 1/4 scale tractor team and the robot team collabo on some sort of self piloting PRT hayrack ride system

If we had this from Kansas City to Manhattan I could leave Shawnee at 1 to make a 1:10 kickoff.

Do they really need to specify that baseball is a men's sport?

Have you never seen a "League of Their Own"?  Don't wanna confuse the BoozeCats with bunch of girls breaking the golden rule of baseball by crying.

I would prefer to just rebuild Memorial at that point. A legitimate college football stadium at that location would be amazing.

For an illegitimate non big time college football stadium, I must say BSFS is looking pretty good.

It's just a shame we'll never be "big time".
