Whining about the metal bleachers is amazingly stupid. Those things have been very full for years, people clearly like those seats. Also moving those seats to the NEZ isn't exactly apples to apples, sight lines.

1. They look fine, they're always full. They could be made of Hershey bars or platinum, doesn't matter how they look if you can't see them on Saturday.

Yeah, I've never once cared about the metal bleacher sections, and I don't think they look bad at all.

The temp bleachers do look pretty bush league, just like folding chairs in the end zone used to.

Luckily, some South end improvements seem to be a strong possibility, so some overall upgrades could be in the works soon.

Yeah, once that gets closed in and we put more seats in the NEZ, those will go away.

If I'm a betting man, once we close the bowl in the NEZ, the band will move over there and we'll reconfigure some student seating to move them more in that corner and along the east side. We'll then probably reclaim at least one section there in the middle (24, 25) for high priced donor seating.

Anyway, that's what I'd do.

tbh, I've had that thought as well... but, I think there's a clause in all KSU employee contracts that they can't approve anything that's not at least a little bit K-State0.

i actually like it a lot. in my opinion it adds character to the otherwise plain design aesthetic. and i know design aesthetic.

I don't really like the aluminum panels, the silver looks cheap. Exposed concrete or stone would have been better, imo.

I think it would look much better with seats in the corner.. hanging out over a rough ridin' dirt mound with a long lost Prince binder in the depths isn't helping the looks, that's for sure
