also just realized that he's not an actual engineer and was just a constuction science major that couldn't cut engineering at ksu so disregard his comments maybe?

Dude it's all about acceleration and deceleration. Don't exceed the human limits on either of those two fronts and we're golden. Maybe like one of those big foam pits that motocross bikers use to practice with?

The only problem that I could see with the cannons is that it would take forever to keep on reloading them to get the whole team onto the field. Maybe just cannon the studs out there and make everyone else walk? Maybe just use them for senior day as a special treat to the players and their families?

hand out battery powered fans to students when they enter and have them turn them on and face them towards the cannons. engineers (not cns majors) feel free to weigh in. probably a long shot though.

Definitely not a bad idea, would probably really stop kids from transferring because then they'd never get cannon shot. However, we could just put like 40 or whatever cannons around the top so they only have to get reloaded once. It would also be an homage to the military. "Cannon Town Hall at BSFS"

Slides would block the view of a lot of people. They would have to be retractable or something.

It would be great if they did one of those roller coaster cameras while they slide down.  Then, we could just show their faces on the video board with that adorable, "Hey, I'm really excited but scared," look.  I mean it would be great.

too risky. just get each player their own batmobile to drive down the ramp and park on the sideline. When we go to halftime instead of the "cat pack" formation thing we drive 100 batmobiles up the ramp to the lockerroom

what if all the players were trebuchet'd in over the Town Hall and landed some big blue cushion thing. It would take a few hours to sling all the players in but if they sell beer I'd be there every time to see it.

what about a real train that mirrors the willie/crazy train jumbo tron vid. like the players/team actually board a train and drive it really fast past last chance and stuff? the city could maybe also conjunction with ksu and use the train as part of a city wide transportation device during non game days.

I'm pretty sure I proposed this earlier in the thread, but considering the lovefest the architects have for the powercat, I think my idea could gain some steam with them should it be presented in the right way.

better start winning some titles before even thinking about that. I would feel sorry for the people who had to sit in the upperdeck.

Just think of the money we'll make giving rides to the top levels.
