Another small moment of progress (I don't know when it happened but probably yesterday or tuesday) but that elevator on the south end is gone and workers are placing wall/limestone as we speak

Premium Seats.  Design with future expansion in mind.  50-55K works now.  But, in 10 years, who knows.

More suites and some sort of a big reception hall/pregame food and booze area in the south endzone that connects to the Bram.  That way we could use it for the big donors as sort of a club level before/half/after football and basketball games.  Make it very elite.  Could also serve as a great place to host events, wedding receptions, etc. and would be a money maker all year round.  Would be like that big area at Arrowhead behind the suites, except usable for multiple sports.  Make it a 2 story ceiling and have 2 tiers of suites there in the endzone.  Could make them varying sizes and styles to fit the demand and leave 2-6 of them empty and available for rental by the game.  No clue on the amount of people on the suite waiting list but you would think two levels could mean 12-20 additional suites??(no clue) 

Knock out about the top 5 rows that are currently there so the total capacity stays within 1-2k and most of those would be $$ seats with additional booze revenue and premium pricing.  Would have the built in concessions like any normal pro stadium(think kauffman or something simple) below the suites that would make for better food/drink offerings for those in the south endzone and would make for a better SRO area even without booze.  Leave the corners both open so we could have that picnic/park area on one side and the hotel thing on the other.  Maybe even throw a skywalk between the hotel and the new "town hall" booze area that you get access to for gameday with your super expensive 2 night stay.  All these are revenue generating ideas that really dont affect Bill or normal operations for anyone.

when the next round of realignment comes it'll be better to say we have a larger stadium.  at the right price, there are plenty of ksu fans out there that would buy those seats up.  the cheap season tickets sell out like hotcakes now...we could move people who are willing to pay more into the lower bowl in new seats in the NEZ, then sell more $99 season tickets in the upper deck and profit off parking, concessions, etc.  not sure exactly how they would do it but I'm sure the AD will only build them if they feel reasonably confident they can sell them.

because nothing procures television sets like more stadium seating.  and since television viewers/sets are all that matters when it comes to realignment, i think we should build this puppy up to 275k, just enough to surpass the indianapolis motor speedway.

then, when that ol conference realignment rears its nasty head, we'll be ready and waiting, #1 pick, l-o-t-t-e-r-y style.  and, with NBAF, i bet we have a waiting list.

I think the ultimate solution is to lower the field, demolish Vanier/seating area, bring in (transplant) a couple of the prettiest flint hills to the north of the endzone.  Then we'd not only have a great view, but fans could also watch the game from these hills.  Doable?

I was just showing you that no matter how big your stadium is, you'll be left out of a major conference. KU football is horrible yet we are preferred over ksu. why? AAU status and KU is a national brand.
