I always chuckle when I read threads on the Wabash about things like the sound system. I have to believe many of the complainers are some of the same people who defended Weiser at every turn. The real tragedy here is that the current sound system wasn't cheap, but instead of investing the money in that system, that money should have been used as partial payment on the distributed sound system the architects told Weiser they need to have.
Just another example of Weiser and company actually costing K-State more money in the long run. We could have had a proper distributed sound system, and a much bigger North Endzone videoboard installed and paid for long ago. But cheapskate Timmy Weiser (who sure wasn't missing a dime of his $700K a year in compensation) wouldn't spend the money. There was absolutely no reason NOT to incorporate the infrastructure to support a larger North Endzone Videoboard when they redid the North Endzone.
