i want some kind of nice restaurant in this thing that is open seven days a week, overlooks the field and has good drink specials.
We do have a nice board one of the biggest ones in college football, if you don't want to look at the video board in the NEZ don't sit at the top of the SEZ
Again, "wind loading" and "weight" is PowerTuck cover story, for: Piecemeal and Cheap. Sony Jumbotrons were extremely heavy, LED video boards are much lighter. Large speaker cabinets are essentially giant wind catchers and with huge PA speakers still inside they are extremely heavy as well. Take all of that out, and start over, instead Weiser would only pony up for taking out the old Sony JumboTron and installing a similar sized LED video board in the same frame, and putting in a new scoreboard beneath.
Who cares? I say build it.If it falls, it falls.

Let's just put huge fans around the video board to counter-act the force applied by high winds.

Keep that crap a hot ticket, and upgrade seats to premium...turn the top 10 rows of the upper deck to "loge" seating with booze, tv's and waitresses or something.agree about upgrading/etc. disagree about "hot ticket". i don't care if we are selling tix for ten bucks like we did the first two games, i just want to get as many people in the stadium possible while providing a better upgraded "premium" experience for those that can afford it and want it. no reason you can't do both.just have enough different price points/options and work the ever loving hell out of them. somebody doesn't care where they sit and just wants a single game tik to get into the game? no prob. here is your cheap ass single game ticket to the game with the worst view in the house. somebody different wants to be able to drink beer during the game? no prob-here you go. somebody wants the best seat possible seat and doesn't care about beer-here is your seat. right here. you def want as many people there as possible though. they have done a great job at that over the past few years with this. whoever is in charge or plans/ticket prices/etc is light years ahead of whoever was doing it ten years ago. kudos to them.

Low stadium IQ, where at the Bill can you buy beer, and how does the AD get around the State Laws regards booze sales on its property? TIA

It's an awesome place to go even when they aren't playing. They could fill the menu with "Jayhawk Wings", "Hubert 360", "Snyder Sliders" etc. You could sit out on the porch overlooking the BSFS while enjoying a Mcgraw Martini and bs about the ol' times!

Tobacco Road has the WORST bar food in the country, but I like the idea. Would make lots of $...
Work behind the bar at So Long Saloon in Aggiville, tonight three gentleman ate at the bar and talked business the entire time. Talking about bids and overhead costs. Told me they work for a company out of Michigan specializing and stadium construction. Spoke about some big name stadiums that their company has contracts with and said they were in town on business for BSFS. Sounds like what ever happens will be ELITE. FWIW, I also thought they sounded like they plan to add in some hidden costs, don't know the convo I eavesdropped on had anything to do with BSFS.
