They better not wait until 2017 to finish the rough ridin' NE corner...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

"Hey guys, we got all this cash lying around, let's just go ahead and finish off the northeast corner."
There is going to be a players lounge under the stands just off the dressing room. The Gatorade area will also work as a players lounge as they'll have one those tiered cool wood bench theaters like a lot of cool companies have put into their offices. It will have large screen TV's.

A+ source told me that getting the primary facility open by 8/1/2015 is the focus. NE corner takes away from that focus. Temp facilities for officials and visitors dressing room will be perfectly fine, the officials will likely get to use the coaches dressing room on gamedays in 2015.

As you recall he did similar stuff for the WSC, and they ended up adding another $15 million dollars worth of stuff before it was all over.

Quote from: 60scat on April 26, 2014, 04:11:25 PMI had to listen to the game on KStateHDTV as I was stuck out in SWKs. The connection would start and stop continually so I missed some good info. Sounded like old Vanier would be up for use for a time during construction. If that's true then the team can use the current weight room until they can get into new Vanier. Is this true or did I miss something.I think you missed something, watch this Currie talks about using the indoor practice facility as a weight room

So, the field turf "hill" in the weight training facility. I've never seen anything like it. Am I out of the loop or this a unique feature?
There's like a gajillion different Currie Q&A's, and in one of them he says that the N.E. endzone will be over and above the $65 million they have allocated for New Vanier. So, you may not see it until 2017.
The incline in the weightroom is a Dawson thing. He played a pretty big part in ku's weightroom in Generic Football Guy Football Center before Lew Perkins aka the Killer of Football programs sent Mangino and the whole staff packing.
