Gallagher IBA is where Vanier is for us, and it's really tall.  I don't think I'd want it to be that tall.

Oklahoma State does not just name their basketball arena after a legendary coach.  They also name their wheat varieties after the guy too.  Last year they came out with two varieties, one named "Gallagher" and the other named "Iba".  I think KSU should start doing that with our wheat varieties as well.  Instead of dumb names like "Overley", "Fuller", and "Jagger", we need to start giving them names like "Tex", "Winter", "Bill", and "Snyder".  Maybe if we start a petition we could submit that to the research department.

A word of caution, the purple shape is just a vague outline of the area to be improved, not a true footprint.

Right, but this does line up with what I saw in terms of:
1. Width of building.
2. How close the seating comes down to EZ (and the depth seems right too because it's steeper)
3. Corners.

Yeah. Common sense too. Sides can't be connected if one side has a whole other section extending to the north. Unless we wanted the north end zone to be angled.  Which would be pretty weird.

makes sense.  I assume the seating slope and number of rows on the west matches the east.  So why are they breaking the seating with grass areas?  Maybe the NEZ is only a straight section of seating with no curve to it?  Maybe it is steeper or shallower than the rest of the bowl?

The rake of the NEZ seating will be much steeper than the rest of the bowl.

It will definitely stand out from the rest of the stadium.  Did the grass areas have terraced limestone walls or an even slope like it is now?
