maybe now the football team can actually practice over there and our field at the stadium won't get all worn and garbagey looking.  If they put some soccer stands on the west side by the street, that would help block anyone from watching practice if they did practice over there.

Numerous public and private testing agencies have done tests on rubber infill surfaces and declared them safe.   

There should be enough room over there, because technically there's 3 full sized football fields there now I believe, it's that one isn't used and I think has a big camera tower in the middle now.

Nike makes some that uses recycled tennis shoes

Nike never made turf, for awhile FieldTurf used what they called "Nike Grind" which was supposed to be old ground up Nike shoes, but I don't think they do that anymore.

Nike never made turf, for awhile FieldTurf used what they called "Nike Grind" which was supposed to be old ground up Nike shoes, but I don't think they do that anymore.

Nike and its partners (Atlas Track & Tennis, Playtop, Training Ground, Everlast and Rebound Ace)[1] take the granulated rubber and create soccer, football, baseball fields, weight room flooring and running tracks.
