Doesn't seem a big risk on our end. Seems like we always end up spending a scholly on someone we've never heard of after signing day anyway.

i mean i agree to an extent but we only have a handful of schoolys left to give. id rather take a flyer on a high school kid than juco. but thats just my

Right.  KSU was looking for a JUCO OLB. Dorvilus is pretty much the best one we have on our board by far.

Aside from the mystery reason we won't go after Clarke, it's pretty much Dorvilus or someone we'll just put on scholly right before the Feb signing day or this summer.

Well, HS LB has actually been the position we've recruited the best at over the last few years.  We don't have much of a need for more High School kids.

Mike Moore (SO) - 5.6
Will Davis (RS-FR) - 5.6
Nick Ramirez (Redshirting) - 5.8
Isaiah Williams (Redshirting) - 5.5
Sam Sizelove (Current Recruit) - 5.6

Once you throw in Derricott and Dorvilus, and realize that no one is unseating Truman as a senior (because that's how Bill rolls), we're looking at 8 LB right there.  Dakorey Johnson will be a senior, too, so he'll get PT in the two-deep like he is now.

Dorvilus is 3x2.  Honestly, if he commits, I bet he redshirts.  We'll be loaded at LB.

Apparently, Dorvilus is not an academic risk.

Unlike many prep/ JUCO situations, Dorvilus's story does not include academic struggle. He currently maintains a 3.1 grade point average. In fact, he was a qualifier out of high school. However, at the time, he looked to take the prep school route to further develop his skills and drum up further interest. Apparently, he's been successful.

I think Crabtree said it was contingent at best.

But I'm not seeing any others on our radar.  Riddle, I guess, but there's really nothing about him online regarding a visit.
