Yes, use all of your visits. I still visited even after I knew I didn't want to play baseball anymore.

Danzel loved his visit, he's prob gonna be a cat.  Plus 2 people flipped his crystal ball to us today.   :excited:
It would be nice if he committed and then got Clinkscale to flip.

I'm not sure if this impacts much, but NU has gotten a lot of flips in 247 for Josh Keys in the last two days.

They may take two, or it could be an either/or situation.  I don't know.

Also, Hayes and Dickey were there to see him today.  I know Snyder was there recently as well.

Great visit with Coach Hayes and Coach Dickey #EMAW????????

I'm betting his offer was contingent on Keys, and in the last 48 hours, everyone started flipping Keys to NU.

My guess is that he'd rather go with the safer bet.  Also, I'm sure So. Miss came to him and said that he'd start immediately, it won't hurt for him to come down and check it out, and then he can make his decision next week.

I'd bet by this time next week, we've got White and McDaniel locked up.

One thing that I don't think anyone has talked about, but I kind of noticed...

I don't think we're going to see a lot of movement from here on out with the exception of a few key guys.  We may sign under 25 (placements excepted) because this isn't a very big Senior class, and because Bill likes to give walk ons scholarships, I think we may end up really putting 21 or 22 guys on scholarship this year.

I count 19, and that includes Dorrian Roberts (who I assume got one since he's starting).

I count 86 guys on scholarship (which I know isn't right).  I assume that going into next year, Schellenburg will get one, but it won't count against our totals.  I assume Dylan Veatch, Taylor Godinet, Zac Niemachek (sp) and Weston Hiebert all have one, but I have no idea.  None of them may have gotten one...I don't know.

So, we have 17 scholarships right now (16 commits, 1 grayshirt).  If we take one JUCO OL, one JUCO WR, two JUCO DB, one JUCO DT, and a JUCO LB, that would put us at 23 total on this year.  Like I said, if my count is right, we may see a few guys mysteriously depart in the offseason.  Guys like Cody Marley, Joseph Bonugli, etc. that never play.

Anyway, something to think about if we don't hear about many more targets between now and signing day.

I think Weston Hiebert got one, FWIW.

I've never been to this 24/7 place but I like that "crystal ball flip" is now part of this threads everyday vernacular.

I've noticed, I asked about how many scholarships we have left. I think we undersign this year also.

So all of our jucos will be top 100?  Yay!

"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."
