Any word on Emanuel Beal? 247 predicting UCF 60% Us 40%

I'm not sure if this impacts much, but NU has gotten a lot of flips in 247 for Josh Keys in the last two days.

They may take two, or it could be an either/or situation.  I don't know.

Also, Hayes and Dickey were there to see him today.  I know Snyder was there recently as well.

Out of the blue he finally responded to a message I sent over a week ago, requesting an update on his recruitment.

In AJ's defense, he said he's been swamped with finals preparation. I actually believe that too because he once told me he'd have to call me back because he had to finish the final 30 minutes of his homework schedule first, something I've never heard from a recruit.

Anyway, he insists everything remains the same for him.

When I asked what's going on with K-State, a team he once gushed over and named an early favorite, AJ said, "It's still the same with Kansas State right now but a couple of teams are high on my board but I can't say who as of right now."

I assumed that to mean he was waiting on an offer from another school. But AJ quickly corrected that notion.

"No, I'm just waiting to be done with school and all my finals so I'll have time to do more research on all these schools."

With no timetable or date set for a decision, who knows how long this recruitment could drag out. I'm not sure what more investigating he needs to do or on what schools. His Top 5 has virtually been the same for over a month. But hey, it's a life altering choice so it's understandable where he's coming from.

For what it's worth, Grossmont College is currently in their finals week as we speak (Dec.10-16) and final grades are due on the 18th. That may help give you an idea when AJ will jump back in to his recruiting.

mcdaniel is probably nub. we are out of the picture for morris. don't know about knight. we do need another Juco DB. I think we want one more Juco OL and it'll be one of Allen, Levingston or Robertson. I don't really care which.

Danzel has texted me that he is down to K-State and Iowa State.

Will visit Southern Miss this weekend. Why? I'm not really sure. But either way, it appears the Huskers are now out of the mix with the visit to Lincoln this weekend no longer happening.

BIG news for the Wildcats.
