FWIW, I was talking with a buddy who's a coach at nearby Campus High, and knows members of the Derby staff, about Goolsby over the weekend (not knowing that he'd signed elsewhere on Friday) and he mentioned that the young man was fairly difficult to work with, that he had a fairly high opinion of himself, might have been a clash of personalities that sent him down south.

he is 17. and a college football program should have staff who excel at helping talented yet moderately uncooperative youths conform to its way of doing things. we apparently dont't.

I don't think it's as cut and dry as you wish to think it is. Recruits are higher prima donna's then ever before. especially with social media where everyone is sucking their taint and telling them how great they are. That being said, I'm sure he's a stud.
