he wasn't a placement bill said "we never offered" after he was arrested, until today I thought he was in jail. He will be at butler because he hasn't been to court yet or so I figure I really don't know

I believe that is accurate re. no court yet (unless something has changed recently). It's nice that they are letting him play juco while they wait.

My point is that even if you take legal off the table (hypothetically), he'd probably still be at Butler.
