Pretty jacked for this Ahrens stud.

Dad seems to think he's a stud too, just needs to work on his speed because he's not a speed burner.  YET.

Yes I'm Tyler's dad and I just want everyone to know that he is excited to be a Wildcat. I just wanted to post you the info to give you guy's the fact's on Tyler's height and weight. He is not a speed burner but he does have good speed. I would say his strength's are hands, ballskills and blocking. As far as weakness I would say continue to get faster and stronger. Thank's guy's.

what was james terry's 40? kind of reminds me of him.

He and TL Ford are, like, the same guy.

It feels like we've decided to go after taller receivers in this class.  Get Beal and we're done.
As well as the Neph kid

Not a huge believer in the star system but man, we've picked up a crap ton of two stars all of sudden.  I do believe Snyder and Co. are much better at evaluating talent than Rivals but still... It's so early and we were signing studs left and right.

This early in the process a 2 star can be placeholder for kids that they haven't fully evaluated.  :dunno:

There should be some more recruits coming in this weekend. One name I know of is Sam Jones.

The thing that makes me feel okay with it is that pretty much all of these guys camped with us, so we've evaluated them in person and performed whatever tests it is we're looking for with them.

That puts me at ease.

I feel pretty OK about this class for the sole reason we got a good dual threat QB, for once.

I'll feel more OK if we augment the talent with more 3-4* HS and JuCo guys that have other quality BCS offers.

3-5 strong JUCO guys would make me feel really good about the class.

Watched some Sam Jones film. Man, he has a mean streak. It seems like he is just striving to pancake the opposition on every snap. He was strong, but it seemed like the D-Ends were pretty small, even for high school players. The thing that impressed me about Jones was his quickness: he is one of the quickest o-linemen I have seen tape on. He honestly looks quicker than many tightends. At 275, he obviously has some weight to put on, but I like him quite a bit. If he can add 30 lbs and retain most of his quickness (not easy I know) we are talking future NFL possibility.

Putting thirty pounds on a high school lineman shouldn't be too hard. Cut some fat and add some muscle.
