I still think we are going to be better overall in the secondary this year.
This. People are forgetting that Dorrian was a starter before getting injured going into last year. We have at least 1 other serviceable true corner. Evans is a STUD and Zimm will be better than ever. I think Barnett will be much improved and a great compliment next to TZ. I mean, he has speed and some legit game exp under his belt (albeit primarily from the Baylor game).
Even beyond that, slaughter isn't THAT bad and he is coming off a late-career redshirt and was watching and training with arguably our best LB in over a decade (or all time?). Walker will be fine, and we have a few other guys who can produce just fine at LB.
Our line has been a concern entering almost every season for years now. I see a lot of pieces there and I'm not too concerned.
We will win 10 games minimum if the d forces turnovers and prevents big plays. Our offense will have a MUCH improved passing attack and a lot of balance.
