Sucks for Ertz. We will probably have another Waters/Sams predicament

I wouldn't count Ertz out just yet. It's just awesome that we are getting so many commitments from good QB's. I honestly don't even know who to expect to be the starter in 3 years.

Yeah, it's nice. Seems like it's almost always "if that guy doesn't pan out, we're prolly hosed" or "It's Webb or Meier, we're in trouble".
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

Rooks needs to add weight too.  I want my lineman to be giant freaks.

He probably plays RT, so he doesn't need to be immovable.

Ertz is good.  It's going to be a fun battle in the next few years.

Still want to bring in AJ Bush, too.

Anyone know anything about this guy?  Has a pretty pud offer list but looks like he might possibly be a stud.  Good size, good tackler with the ability to cover downfield.  The scout video is rather impressive (to an admittedly untrained eye)

He's got 5 BCS offers from the SEC and Big 12, I wouldn't say that's a pud list.

JUCO CB's and DT's are freaking gold.

Normally, these guys are burners or giants that are just too academically challenged to make it to D1 to start with.

Our success rates with JUCO CB's and DB's are high.  I'd take two of each every year, minimum.  There's little need or incentive to even go prep.  We normally get better athletes from the JUCO ranks at these positions.

Ask yourself who the last, great KSU CB was that we recruited out of HS.  Hell, ask yourself who the last solid starter was.

Do your guys' minds ever wander when checking out recruits?  Like do you picture them in purple and running out of Vanier and maybe jumping a route and catching an interception and taking it to the house and then doing an awesome celebration?  :excited:

Good call.  Last second academic qualifier, though.

Newman was the last one before that, so we're going back ten years.  Butler left in '01.

Again, proving my point.  The last, best prep kid that came through was the guy that left after one year who didn't qualify at Wisconsin and couldn't maintain eligibility here.  The name escapes me right now, though.

Yeah, it's a pretty solid list, and I'd be pretty surprised if we end up getting him.

He's from GA.  The odds are probably extremely low to non-existent considering that he has multiple SEC offers.
