It feels pretty damned good being ahead of Stoops, even if it only lasts a couple of days.

Seems like Warmack should be a 4 star.

Not sure, looks like a 5.8 gets you a 4th star.  Warmack is the #9 APB,  Deron Thompson is #12 and both are 5.6 rated. I'd feel pretty damn good about our RB recruiting if we landed both of those guys.

From your link, I noticed 6.1 is top of scale.  Are these numbers related to the star ranking?

a 6.1 is the highest rivals rating. that said all the rivals ratings are pretty worthless.

They have the prettiest and most popular rankings, but they're really crap.  Scout is probably worse.

I like ESPN, though.  They're usually alright.

someone is making fun of an nc state coach who used the word 'baller' like 9 times in a 100 word recruitment letter.

Dalvin Warmack is a f'n beast. His film is great and i think this is a great start to recruiting along with that Risner kid from Colorado.i agree with SD that it will make that much harder waiting to see if he sticks with his commitment. I found it interesting that we told him we were done recruiting that position..but Deron Thompson was still offered. I'm hoping we can still somehow add him too.

I hope we they did not tell him that. I really hope that they are going after two more RB commits and one of them being a transfer.

Why? Hubert is back. Behind him we have DeMarcus Robinson and stud practice squad MVP RS FR Jarvis Leverett. Charles Jones and robert Rose behind them...

Oh, and #life  :peek:

Hubert? We are talking about 2014...

2014 RB Roster:
DeMarcus Robinson, 5'6" - SR. (does he get on the field this year?)
Jarvis Laverette, 5'11" - SO. (Scout team stud, loved his film)
Charles Jones, 5'9" - SO.
Dalvin Warmack - FR.
That's pretty thin at a position that gets beat on more than any other.

Would like to see a big bodied back come from a JUCO maybe and another HS back.

Thompson, if not in the RB rotation looks like he could be a very good return guy. His hands look good, he hits seams, and has the speed. He now has an offer from Minnesota.

I have no idea how valid this rumor is, but I heard from one of Robinson's hs teammates that the reason he doesn't play much is because his sickle cell flared up a few years ago. I guess he's having some trouble getting in game shape because of it.

That could be pure  :opcat: speculation on his part though.

itk told me he was struggling with consistency and was at time AWOL early in his career dealing with homesickness and being away from Wichita
