That was funny on Boyd.

But golly, did you guys know that K-State has geographic and demographic challanges?? 

To overcome those, you've got to want to recruit a little harder, clearly Snyder doesn't want to recruit a little harder and would rather just try and coach a lot harder, but that only gets you so far, particularly when you don't land guys in positions of needs . . . and at DT, we didn't even land a warm body.   

Hoping you can get some guys who don't qualify, while it's worked a few times in the past it's extremely risky.

Worse thing about Campbell was that he had three years to play. Most likely would've started all three

DT and LB positions are totally facked next year. DT's: Britz, Reed, Hood, and Brown. Is that all?

Gates, Hollingshed, and that walkon from Topeka who may take a wrestling scholarship somewhere else.  That's it.  Right now on the roster we have 5 DTs, 1 new guy in Brown, and possibly a walk-on. 

We have a shot at using that to create a serviceable 4-man rotation, but if someone gets hurt it's going to get really ugly really fast.

And by the way, I would take 2005 version over next years version right now.  Archer, Diles and Simmons (even if he didn't play) over basically just walker.
