Per ESPN, we have 22 commits. If the talk here is correct, Boyd is a sign and place and Ramirez and Newlan are greyshirting. So that's 19 and 5 are coming at mid-semester and counting towards the 2012 class, so that's 14. Are we really that close to the 85 scholly limit? Is my math totally wrong?

First, you are forgetting the 5 greyshirts from last year, so you're back up to 19.  Second, there is no way all 5 mid-semesters are counting back.  I very highly doubt we have 5 spots from the 2012 class to count back to, so that 19 number is probably more like 22. 

We ran out of initial counter spots to take Luc last summer, so that class was full.  Ankinola never showed, so there's one spot to count back.  Also, that WR who stopped going to class never showed.  Assuming your assumptions about the 1 sign-and-place and 2 greyshirts is correct we're at 22, by my count anyway.
