Working on Kenny Hill information
Gates and I are furiously trying to get whatever updates we can on Kenny Hill's supposed announcement.

I have left a voicemail with the Southlake Carroll A.D. and have yet to hear back from him.

I also just called Dragons head coach Hal Wasson and got absolutely nowhere with that conversation. He was pleasant to say the least...

Me: "Hey Coach, do you know if Kenny is still deciding today?"

Coach: "I can't answer that."

Me: "Have you talked with Kenny at all today?"

Coach: "No."

Me: "Well do you have any idea where he's leaning right now?"

Coach: "You have a good day."

-- End phone call --

Anyway, know that we're trying to give you details. This has been a tough recruitment to get information on.

This one singular recruitment has been tough to get information on.  It's almost like Cone of Silence Jr.

I just received a text message from Kenny.

I texted him earlier and asked when he would make his commitment. I even added this - "If it's not K-State, you could just tell me now and I won't have to bother you anymore" - in hopes that it may get him to at least respond and show his "colors" a little.

Well, the good news: Kenny responded.

The bad news: We still don't know where he's going.

The good news of the bad news: He didn't say it wasn't K-State.

The direct text message from Hill stated, "I'm not sure yet (on a decision). I'll know for sure tomorrow."

And with that, the wait continues...

It's so clear now that he doesn't even care about this team anymore and he's just trying to climb the journalism ranks...

It sounds like he's trying to get back date with a chick.   "If it's a no,  please tell me so In won't have to bother you anymore."  What a pathetic douchebag.

jfc wallace, a simple "just talked to kenny, still doesn't know" would suffice.

I love that he goes into such painstaking detail when documenting his failures.  He really thinks that absolves him of being a total failure, rather than confirming that he is both a failure and a nuisance.  Implicit threats of telephone harassment to a recruit.  So great.  What a spectacularly garbage human being.

the cone of silence is especially deafening around NSD. I think another 4 scholarship players would round this class out nicely.

Kenny Hill
Jacarthy Mack
Dominique Alexander
Demetrius Campbell or Terrell Brooks.

I'd maybe like to see another WR, but it's not as pressing of a need.

It's kind of awesome that he's too stupid to realize that his attempt to show us how hard he is working, only makes him look more like a complete Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

Of course four more players on NSD would round out the class nicely, but we all know that isn't happening.  If we're lucky, one of them will pick K-State.  If we are super duper lucky, he will also arrive on time for summer camp and academically qualify.

obviously those four/five are a wishlist. i would be happy with just one and anything more than that is just icing but I haven't anything about those guys having qualifying issues.

Chris Brown = COMMITTED to the 'Cats.

Quote
The big 6-foot-4, 330-pound defensive tackle sat out this season after being a two-year starter for the Fighting Artichokes and says he's ready to play Division 1 football for the Wildcats.

"I had a great time on my visit," said Chris Brown. "I loved the campus. It's definitely a smaller place than where I'm from, but that's one of the reasons I liked it. It seems like a nice place to be for the next two years. All of the coaches and players were very polite. My host was Ryan Mueller, number 44.

"Coach Latimore has been my recruiter. He sees me as an immediate starter at defensive tackle in the 4-3 defense. He's definitely someone I think will be able to help me to hone my skills and get me ready to play at the next level."

Brown gave his verbal pledge to the Wildcat staff on Sunday, January 27th. He chose Kansas State over offers from Arizona State, right in his home state, and Iowa.
