Have we set an all time record for the number of guys recruited who didn't exactly know if they were going to graduate or not, or whether they actually did or didn't need a class??

don't know if luked.  kenny hill good friends with wil davis and possible kstate lean now.

pvegs, you are by far my favorite poster with under 50 posts. Not even close. And so I'd like to believe you. I just don't want to get my hopes up. So for now, I'm still assuming he's not going to come here. I just wanted you to know my stance has nothing to do with you.

I think the fact that it basically says he's wide open IS promising.

Rivals actually lists Tanner Wood as a four star and the #16 weakside defensive end now. I honestly preferred Jordan Willis before.
Then do you prefer Tanner Wood now?

No, I really like Willis' measurables. Could be the best thing at DE since Darren Howard. I think Wood can and will be good, but not Darren Howard good.

Wood is an incredible athlete.   He probably won't be the next Darren Howard though,  probably the next Monte Beisel.

Stop. Beisel and Wood are both from the Central Plains League in south central KS. Conway Springs has far better athletes than every other team in the league, so Wood should put up gaudy stats.  Beisel is one of the freakiest athletes I have ever seen in my life. Won state shotput soph-senior years. Has the CPL record for the 100 (10.6 handheld) and shotput.  The fact that because they're both big and white should mean they're similar is absolutely rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

6'5, 250 pd, fast kids are rare. Again, I'm not saying he is the next Beisel. It's unlikely he will be, but he has that potential.

Not sure why Beisel is a poor comparison.  He was good but not great it's not like Monte Biesel is some kind of unattainable standard.  Especially for a four star kid like Wood with his frame and athletic ability.  Honestly I think he should shoot a little higher I don't think Beisel was ever in the best DE on the team when he was at KSU.

bucket's analysis is mumped, like completely backward. the beisel comparo is funny because he compared recruits to past guys with their respective skin color. and if anyone deserves darren howard hype it's boyd, not willis.

Hakeem Akinola, a member of last year's transfer class from Fullerton (Calif.) College, told GoPowercat.com it's unlikely he will be a Wildcat after sitting out last season with academic issues. Akinola enrolled at K-State last fall but later found out he was one class shy of earning  his AA degree from Fullerton.

"I don't think going back to Kansas State is an option for me," Akinola told GoPowercat.com. "The way it loooks, I may have to go to a D-II school."

You can't seriously be this dumb. I didn't make the Beisel comparison. I agreed with it.

In regards to the Howard comparison I was asked who I liked more? Wood or Willis. I said Willis because I liked his measurables more. I said he could be our best defensive end since Howard if he puts it all together.

Didn't say he's the next Beisel. I said it's possible because this kid has a lot of athletic potential. You do realize most kids fail to get the most out of their athletic tools, right? Do you understand now why I feel like it's unlikely he's going to reach his maximum potential?

jt was making fun of you when he made the beisel comparison. i thought it was hilarious and proper because you've said some pretty dumb things, e.g. saying this class's 4th best DE could be the next darren howard.
