Not those we have already signed or gave us a verbal. I was referring to those we wanted but went to other schools, like Combs.

A dual threat QB's best decision ever would be playing for Malzahn.

sadly, the list of schools we can use that for is larger than the list we can't.

really?  Is that because he had Cam Newton?  I am guessing that Cam Newton would make just about every QB look good.  I mean if I am to believe your statement then I would feel the same way about Charlie Weis and pocket passers (since Brady).  But that one is too obvious.

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

After Chuck Weis's history and what Brady has done, I think two things are known:

Weis is a good NFL O-Coord, though not necessarily good at any other job

Bellicek keeps Brady successful or Brady keeps Brady successful, but the offensive coordinator is largely irrelevant that equation.

I was exaggerating a bit, but a young guy like Malzahn who has had success with a JUCO dual threat QB has to appeal to a dual threat QB coming out of JUCO, right? I'm sure Malzahn's pitch would be pretty easy to make.

Yesterday was DJDT's birthday.  Give the man a break.  He's not going to text someone the day after his own birthday.

To be fair, it is the job of no one on this board to find out what the status of recruits is.  I know that Campbell enjoyed a nice meal at Willie's with Del Miller and others, getting to witness an exciting K-State basketball victory and the elation of all of the fans in the bar.
:adios:
