MJM is solidly a Jayhawk!  Great news!  Gotta love that K-State is having their best ever season and we're still beating them on the recruiting trail.  Just wait until Weis can sell some wins!  Must be depressing if you're a K-State fan and have a 1-11 football team out recruiting you.

I wouldn't say depressing is quite the right word, but it sure is comical that we're being out recruited by futility U for a player at a position of need.

meh, we've got two LB and an LB/CB in the fold already. i won't get excited about another LB unless it's Longino, Ramirez or Sanders. I think we were more after MJM to help convince Combs.

Clearly, Snyder is just scheming the heck out of the recruiting this year.  We won't hear anything until signing and day and then bam!  Top 25 class.

Well, I think the Lacy one was probably good news.  We normally do committed kids in January, and if he's not talking to anyone, that means he probably doesn't want UCLA to know what's going on.

It’s going to end the same.  It’s sad.  He could have changed for the better and chose not to.  If they don’t hit on their jucos, we only win 5 games next year and 4-5 the next year.  People tend to forget how incredibly awful the ’04 and ’05 big 12north was and we were at the bottom of that division.

I think the success of the last two years has cemented in Snyder's mind that getting kids that want to be here is more important than getting guys other BCS schools want.  This thought process also explains his weird answers to the how much longer will you coach questions.
