New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Jordan Turner is ours the minute we offer him.  He loves KSU.

Yes, I want Stanvon to wear purple...really, really bad.

I think we definitely get AJ Derby.  He would be a mid-year and he's basically like Klein.  We could use an older quarterback and he would be a mid-year signee.

So, Derby would be a 2x2 after he sits out his transfer year, right?

Maybe we should be better at recruiting.

But how?

I think it might be a good idea to just pick up the phone and actually talk to good recruits like Luc. I mean, jfc, Bill, these kids don't just recruit themselves.

Should we text them?

No, illegal benefits, hookers, blow, cash, etc. are better ideas, imo.   :dunno:

What if we call them and they don't call us  back?  What then?

I believe that is correct because he was at Iowa for two seasons and then would be at Coffeyville this year.  He redshirted in '10.

Here's the deal.  If we release the names, now everyone knows.

Here's the deal.  If we release the names, now everyone knows.

That's true. A lot of so called "coaches" out there are talking kids' ears off to the point that they lose a large portion of their childhood. That's why as long as Coach Snyder is at K-State, we will stick to a strict policy of one phone call per recruit per month, as well as a hand-written letter delivered by way of the postal service. If kids crave the attention provided by those other coaches, then so be it. I don't call that recruiting. I call that harassing. If kids want good old-fashioned family values with integrity and quality coaching sprinkled on top, they will stick with coach Snyder. And I'll be damned if I'm going to support a coach that stoops to the level of those other coaches.
