now, how many of those we'll actually land..... besides the two that already committed, if they stay with us.
It's a crap shoot with these kids; you never know.  :crossfingers:

True, This past seasons success might help a little with some of these guys. I'm just surprised were actually offering some pretty good talent.
That's great, but latter on the OSU's & OU's, ect... offer and then they become smittened and blow us off.  Only a few will stay loyal and they may be the two and three star kids.  Why we lose out on the recuiting battles, I'll never know.

Damian Williams has experience to go with his dual threat quarterback skill set, and is actively being recuited by Micheal Smith for KSU.  He looks great on film.  I really hope we get this one.

You know, this kid looks ELITE. Maybe I'm getting my hopes up, but the '13 class seems to have a lot of studs looking our way. QB seems to be a pretty comfortable position for some time to come, as is. Signing Williams would solidify the position for years.

Just two weeks later and after being awarded the Heisman Trophy, Williams went on to burn the then-nation-leading Crimson Tide defense by passing for 405 yards and 4 TD's while rushing for another 115 yards and two more scores to cap off the university's first and only perfect season and bring the Little Apple its second national championship in both KSU history and the past 3 seasons. 2015 makes 3-straight seasons with a Big12 National Championship."

The '13 class is off to a good start.  The kids from Conway Springs and Rockhurst are legit.

The fact that this kid and Kincade are interested in us is a good sign.  However,  I think we probably have a legit "in" with Kincade.

First of all, I don't even know what "bbs" means. Secondly, I was not waking up at 5:30, I was finishing up studying for accounting exam and got a little adderall boner when I watched some Damian Williams highlights & pictured him in a state jersey. As a Junior he looked like a soph or junior in college who is a very smart player and blessed with insane abilities. Hopefully this guy doesn't come with the price tag that Cam Newton did....

pretty incredible to go from not being able to land anything and having Jeff Schwinn behind Ell during the DOD to likely having to ask several of our QB commits to switch positions after they come in.

my best guess is that whats happening in the NFL with cam and tebow (and likely RGIII) is opening kids eyes to system's like ours...showing its viable for moving on to the next level.

Apparently you missed 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.  I'm not sure how the first season over 7 wins in 8 years counts as "continues to produce 8-10 win seasons".  In the past 11 seasons we have had 3 result in more than 7 wins.  Look, I'm happy that it appears we are having an upturn in our QB recruiting, but don't post crap like this.

<Enter reply where poster says 2006-2008 don't count because it was Ron and 2009-2010 don't count because Bill had to use Ron's players while casually omitting that 2006-2008 Ron had to play will Bill's previously recruited players, including the 2003-2005 classes that were terrible.>

Not a flashy name or too great of a recruit, but just another solid in stater that we got over KU.

yes. unless signing a letter of intent on regional tv means hes unsure.

There is a difference between a scholarship LOI and a preferred walk-on LOI.  Big difference between "we got Myles Copeland to sign" and "Myles Copeland got to sign an agreement that KSU will allow him to be a part of the football team all season".  Normally I wouldn't be a dick about this, but it appears you are trying to pass this off as if it is a scholarship LOI or don't know the difference.
