Sure, why not.  Apparently his dad has said he wants to be able to watch most of his games - primary factor in eliminating MU.

so, basically, if he's the age of a lot of junior prospects then that is awfully impressive.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

can't get enough of watching highlights of Burton....me thinks I'm obsessed.

check out this sweep run where he cuts it back and goes 66 yards to the house vs. Junction City.

http://purerock.com/mhssports/?p=56

seaching for his highlights on those Manhattan videos they have...it doesn't take too long to find him making a big play in each game.

btw, stud Juco OT Tavon Rooks is visiting on Dec. 9th.  He's a mid-year kid and would be a big get.  Has an offer from Auburn but another JC OT committed to them before he had a shot to check them out.  He's down to Pitt (already visited), West Virginia (visits 12-16), So. Florida (already visited), and KSU.

FWIW, I looked at Evan Boehm's rivals profile a few days ago and we weren't listed in his top schools, but we have since been added

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Evan-Boehm-108982

Also, according to Rivals, Simon Goines (a Joe Gordon kid) has reopened his recruitment.

I find it hilarious that this kid de-committed from Mizzou because they were going to be playing in sec and his parents weren't going to be able to see him play as much, and then promptly lines up a visit to Auburn. Welcome to the SEC tigers!!!!

I think a component of his de-commitment was how bad Mizzou has been this year.  It's not just the SEC thing.  That's just a convenient way of not looking like a bad guy for getting out of his commitment.

I also think Boehm probably realized that if he has NFL aspirations, playing in a shotgun spread offense that uses wide splits and makes their guards start from a high two-point stance is frowned upon in the NFL.  There's a reason that Mizzou has put several skill position players in the NFL over the last few years, but hardly any OL.  Most people can connect the dots on why that's the case.

SIAP...January Visit (1/13)

Looks like a solid DITR, Panj.

Though I was kind of hoping for a bruiser in this class in the D. Thomas mold as a compliment to our scatbacks.
