He didn't just fall over, he clearly slipped, which can happen on some of those artificial grass fields.

And Oklahoma state was placing guys with us until they were sure they wanted them.

Not (yet) K-State related, but there's an enormous and somewhat terrifying kid who works out at my gym who was wearing a "Texas class off 2013" t-shirt this morning. He was doing copious amounts of bench presses and other type lifting activities I don't know the name of but looked very impressive and involved multiple numbers of a class of weights I've heard the regulars refer to as  "plates" (in their jargon).

NOTE: T-shirt looked homemade
NOTE: Bar was bendin'

If he's class of '13, wouldn't he already be a student?

Most recent film i could find on Jarvis, although it's 6 months old.  Kid can make people miss, but seems to have trouble staying on his feet while attempting to juke.  Couple runs end because he just falls over.

Seems to me like he has very good balance actually. Great lateral movement imo.

It's like a Swedish wind farm in there. Huge main area and closed off cinema room filled exclusively with "whisper" machines. Really, no excuse to be skimping on his low impact cardio. Maybe FP, TC, etc?

We needed a big juco dt.

Very happy with this fella.

Video looks really good.

Michael Smith was the recruiter.  Hmm.  Not a bad pull.  I bet he's 3-star 5.6 on the Rivals scale at some point.  Maybe Top 50.

Love his size and how he stays low to the ground.  Uses his hands well.  Tends to gobble up ball carriers.

Class of 2009.  2 star.  Committed to Nevada.  Probably means he's 2x2.

Anyone know what's up with Marion Grice?  He has an offer from us, and a list of schools we could be competitive with.

Also, we do have a good "in" with Blinn.

Keep an eye on Eric Mathews at Blinn.  He's a redshirt freshman this year, and we'll be in the market for a JUCO QB in 2013.

Here's some video:

Stats: http://www.njcaa.org/sports_stats.cfm?sid=11&stat_type=i&gender=m&divid=0&slid=5&seasonselect=547&report_id=3708&requesttimeout=500

71/104 (68%), 14 TD/2 INT, 1263 pass yards
60 carries, 428 rush yds, 7 TD

Blinn is #1 in the NJCAA right now.
