I know but sometime a kid says he has an offer when he gets letters. He was never really on our recruiting radar.

Those offer lists aren't even close to always accurate. He was almost certainly a last resort. Even WRSOAT isn't that bad.

Imagine we may have shown interest before Sams was locked up or we looked at him for a position other than QB. No reason to piss of Sams for that guy.
