God help Daniel Sams if he becomes a "signing day surprise".
Where did you get that overnight bag?

michael smith needs to go kidnap sams until signing day like in the movies where they put that liquid or whatever on a handerkerchief and then put it over the persons face and then he passes out and then they load him up in a car or something. we need to do that.

Now the tards are going to use this as proof that Snyder's recruiting is getting better.  After all, we beat out Oregon, LSU, Miami, USC, and OK for Sams.  Probably going to single handedly contribute to an additional 2-3 yrs of Snyder, which happens to be the amt of time it takes to convert a 'tuck into a Sean for HC fan.

Bad news.

Snyder has really shown he can still recruit and most importantly, close. I don't remember us ever closing on recruits in the last minute like we have this year. If we get McReynolds, I'm going to go nuts. And you add in all those guys that got redshirted/greyshirted from last years class. Saturdays are good again!!!

it will be interesting to see how active we stay in recruiting after wednesday.  the last two years we have seemed to be very active in the late period going into summer.

I remember trying to convince Curtis Kitchen that Sams was the best recruit we've landed since Freeman back in June, and that he was the best pure Dual Threat QB we've recruited since Roberson.

He's going to be amazing.

Awesome. Hope this increases exposure for KSU at his high school, skyline.  Last year, skyline had 16 players go D1!!!!

Probably not, but I don't care.  The kid's raw; I get that.  We're willing to work with him for three years for the two that he'll be amazing.

I wonder if he'll be able to come straight in and compete for a starting spot.  People are wondering about Tuggle's abilities, and we know what we can get from Klein.  We played the UCF frosh last year, and he played well.  People were clamoring for El to play as a frosh, but he was held back because Jonathon Beasley was solid. There's no Beasley on this squad.  I'm all for giving this guy a chance to start from day 1, but like you, I think he's raw and probably not ready.

Ell was terrible his first 2 years and that Godfrey kid was very highly rated as a HS player.  Not saying that Sams can't or won't be good for us but I wouldn't pin all my hopes on any freshman QB and certainly not a 3* who nobody else is recruiting as a QB.
