Really surprised the Cosh/Snyder recruiting dynamo didn't close the deal on McReynolds.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Had no idea he was retiring.

Good.  He was worthless.  Hopefully, we don't replace him with another complete Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

Unless they're re-ranking soon, my guess is that Crabtree gets his rankings from ESPN.

The common phrase to describe a player like Seau is "as good as he wants to be". Loaded with natural size, athleticism, strength and talent, Seau has thrived on the high school level on his God given ability. But he is prone to take plays off and will need to dedicate himself to the game including weight training to reach his full potential. High risk, high reward type of player whose future is in his own hands - Scott Kennedy, Scout.com.

Gotta love his "eff all the other teams at this point" attitude. I am anxious to see the shirt ideas.

From Jenks, same school as Tramaine Thompson ... and earlier, the highly recruited DT Tony Gillespie that ended up being a sign and place, and then sucked at juco

Interesting story with this guy

"With young TE’s in the program like Andre McDonald, Travis Tannahill, and greyshirt Tyler Davidson out of Jenks, OK in the 2010 class it doesn’t look like the coaches are going hard after any TE prospects. The Davidson kid was a great pick up at the last second. He has been flying under the radar after being rated a three star out of Colorado last year then he moved to Oklahoma then proceeded to get into legal trouble. We kept our greyshirt offer on the table and he accepted it."

Okcat's opinion of a kid's talent carries almost as much weight as the opinion of a 16 yr old girl working the drive thru at McDonalds.
