Honestly, Dylan Edwards would be my dream recruiting process. It’s a lot less stressful when they commit early, but for program/player reputation, having a kid drag out the process and take official visits to programs like Nebraska and Oklahoma is good for K State’s perception if/when he picks K State.

This is what it’s like when you recruit at an elite level. You’re gonna win some & you’re gonna lose some. It’s going to be much more impressive when he honors his commitment with a late Notre Dame offer. I would think that Nebraska and Oklahoma are still in contact with him.
Even when he committed after visiting Nebraska and Oklahoma there were people that said those weren’t committable offers or that they had moved on to better running back recruits. Love Dylan Edwards.
The other thing people need to remember, just because we lose a commit during the initial recruiting process, if you maintain that relationship you can always get them on the backend through the transfer portal. In the transfer portal day and age you just keep recruiting. I’m still counting on getting Manning through the transfer portal after the Missouri fires Drinkawitz.
Believe!!
