Why are you saying he’s had one recruiting class and then saying his two recruiting classes have been better than Snyder?

21 isn't an indicator of how the staff is going to recruit, particularly in the context of the hit rate of the staff for those in for an official visit.

The way the class was trending before the OU and UT announcement 2022 was looking like a repeat of 2021 imo.  It will likely be considerably worse on the HS front now for obvious reasons.  I agree with you that he may be able to keep us relevant with transfers as this staff seems to be really good at landing instant impact guys.

I want to see the chart that shows how we stack up against the G5.

I want to see the chart that shows how we stack up against the G5.

For class ratings or visits converted to signees? G5 schools don't do nearly as many official visits, as far as classes go. In '21 only Cincinnati, 38, and Memphis, 48, had better classes than us, 51. Next closest was UCF at 54.

In '20 only Cincinnati, 39, was better than we were 49. UCF was the only other G5 in the top 60 and they were 58th.

Graham Mertz is the perfect example of why fans should freak out about recruiting losses. I'm not sure he's better than Will Howard and he appears to be a me first, TC.

I mean... we all have our favorite players and most business can surely figure out which face/name would sell the best for them but what about something like this from some loyal Cats sponsors?  When it's a blanket stipend like this for the men's football and basketball teams could there be any Title IX issues?

It will be nearly impossible for a title ix claim on NIL deals because the laws, as written, prevent schools from being directly involved with these deals. This won't stop controversies and threats of lawsuits, but if the schools aren't supposedly involved in the deals, it's gonna be tough to prove the schools aren't providing equal opportunities based on gender.

I do think there are absolutely some equity issues with these NIL deals, but that's another story for another day.

I personally am interested in some of these deals announced and wondering how much business sense they make. I am not in this dude's pockets so he may be extremely wealthy, but everything about him and United Wholesale Mortgage screams bitcoin billionaire to me.

Enough with spending hundreds of millions on facilities. Someone needs to organize a donation effort geared toward NIL. Players will absolutely follow the money. As they should!

slim offer list but i'm actually ok with it. has d1 size (and speed if his twitter bio is accurate) for TE and loves the crap out of the cats - his dad Brad Seib was a TE in the early 90's.

The Fighting Huskies of N. Illinois. Only other offers were every single Dakota school.  :Ugh:  Good size though!
