Official Centennial League comparisons to Big 12 schools:
Hayden: Baylor. Smaller schools, achieves at a high level, but we ALL hate them. Hayden is an original member, so this isn't a perfect comparo, but still accurate.
Manhattan: Texas. Comes to the league late, thinks they own the joint. Frequently they do.
Topeka High: Oklahoma. Steeped in tradition, most of it in the past. An original member.
Junction City: West Virgina. Freaking identical in almost every way.
Shawnee Heights: KU. Basically located in greater Lawrence. 90% of their grads go to KU.
Seaman: K-State. Only one decent football coach in the last forever. Traditionally Ag-ish, but with a quickly increasing student body, that is also increasingly progressive. The old timers don't get the change.
Emporia: Iowa State. Original member, loathed or ignored by all other members. No one likes to go there for games. Smells like poop.
Washburn Rural: TCU. Uppity. Rural is an original member, so again, this doesn't fit perfectly. But, historically known for football and polo shirts, like TCU.
Topeka West: Oklahoma State. Sworn enemy of Topeka High, and inferior in every single way to Topeka High. Topeka ignores that West even exists, not unlike OU and OSU.
Highland Park: Texas Tech. Odd ducks among the other schools, just like Tech, but for very different reasons. Also, they suck a bunch at stuff, just like Tech.
