I bet you are correct.

At least according to Delton's comments, Snyder said some very un-Snyder like things.

Also, when looking at his hudl video, he's kind of perfect for us.  I'd be really surprised if we go after anyone else.

Don't shoot the messenger here, or the messenger's messenger, but Catzacker had some elite level discussions with some very importantish KS high school football coaches and they were telling him how they are concerned that Delton might just be a "7 on 7 guy."  Stuff about how he is very different under a rush, and in full pads.   The general gist of the message was that he is probably overrated.

Hope I am wrong.  But that's what I heard.

I hope it is wrong too, but can confirm.

Given this, I am going to officially transition into mentally picturing Delton as fine slot WR for us some day.

Delton runs way too well to be a "7 on 7 guy". As long as the coaches incorporate a heavy dose of the QB run game, there will be enough open receivers running deep routes to make him an effective passer.

If there's any coach in the world that can turn that type of player into an elite college QB it's LHC Bill Snyder...too bad he isn't running things anymore...

Any player that flips from a top 15 football school with a hall of fame coach to "The U" deserves every bad thing that happens to them because of that decision.

The coaches will try to talk him out of the visit, kinda of like how they did it with DD. I think the odds are in our favor of talking him out of the visit.
