Yeah, that's why I assumed they played even tho they weren't major contributors. Prewett not rs'ing was just a huge coaching eff up.

I think he probably showed a ton of potential early on, so the coaches felt compelled to use him (like Lee), but he may have plateaued as the year went on.

When you have a Big 12 Championship caliber team you play for the Big 12 championship. You don't redshirt a kid for four years from now. You suit up your best guys. If this team was 7-5 I might understand your argument, but why wouldn't you be all in right now with your best guys?

Snyder has said many times that he lets the kids decide if they want to red shirt or not. You can believe that or not, but everyone raived about how much of a beast he was and how much they hate schellenberger and then prewett didn't know that grabbing a football on a blocked punt was a good thing and now everyone is mad he didn't red shirt. Hypocrites.
