It's not that simple, Train. He was competing for the third QB spot against a sophomore QB with the same OC he had in college, and was kicked off the roster for a guy who played for their new assistant head coach/offensive line coach. Politics people. No one seriously expected him to make a roster.

third string for the jags is basically a pro-bowl caliber talent im sure. it was all politics, i mean did you see him play while he was at ksu, just oozing with talent, if there were no politics he may compete for the 2nd string.

Jake was exactly what he was in JUCO. He was a guy capable of getting the ball to an elite talent.

I bet if you got Snyder to be 100% honest in private, he'd go back to that Heisman ceremony and tell Klein to hold off on calling Waters and give Nick Marshall a call instead.
