I dont know if it's even funny how bad wally is, it is hard to conceive how he constantly gains no insight from the recruits he talks too.

I'm not going to bash Wally, but I was thinking the same thing. I live in Amarillo and was excited about a local recruit being EMAW then the next day he commits to Tech and I thought WTH? It might had been understandable if he just got a Tech offer and that was his dream school, but he's had a Tech offer for awhile.

“I got my first offer in February, so the recruiting process was kind of late with me,” Thompson said. “But I listened more to my parents and coaches and they told me to stick to what’s important to me and things that I can control and everything would take care of itself. I did that and sure enough it played out perfectly to where I found a school that I love and that loves me and I’m very happy with committing there.”
