That was one of those "Greatest Moments in KSU Recruiting History" right there.

Kind of like when Walter Payton was supposed to go on a recruiting trip to KSU, but was hijacked by a coach and enticed to go to Jackson State, and when LaDanian Tomlinson had his scholarship offer rescinded by LHC Bill Snyder after he fell asleep during their meeting.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but Simon hasn't played since 2008. He sat out 09 and was injured in 10. Dude still had some great offers and it will be nice to have him anchor the line for the next 3 (4?!) years.

Jacobi isn't really an expert. He's one of the head writers of Black Heart Gold Pants on our network.

He's basically me, but trying to write nationally. I wouldn't put too much stock into what he says. He's a Big Ten guy.

They really liked Barnett too. According to ESPN, he was our 8th or so best recruit. Everywhere else has him freeriding as Lockett's coat-tail.
