Nice breakdown on Deadspin about recruiting rankings. Not many surprises. Over the same 5 year period our average ratings are closest to Wake Forest. Our worst class was 2009 (93rd nationally on Rivals). That class included: Hubert, Emmanuel Lamur, Cornelius Lucas, Tramaine Thompson, Andre McDonald, Torrell Miller, Angelo Pease, Keenan Taylor, Meshack, Zimmerman, and Trujillo.

Yeah, I just selected the guys I thought of as contributors from that class. There are probably others I missed. Still, 3 NFL guys and a number of all-conference is crazy for the 93rd rated class.

put a different logo on the helmet and that class is top 40. That's why I don't listen to those bullshit rankings. Most videos speak for themselves

I'd love to steal him from Wisconsin.

Also, Zuber needs a stipend for his recruiting.

Well since that tweet was dated 3.5 months ago, I'm guessing Barry is a better linebacker than a recruiter

After the Tech game can we expect a storm of JUCO offers? It has been really quite.

I don't think we take more than 3-4 this year.  The heavy interest we've gotten from talented prep players has prevented that need.

I've got us right around 85 players on scholarship (I may be liberal and giving one too many).  With a class of 18 seniors, and a recruiting class consisting of 12 guys (10 commits, 2 grayshirts), my guess is that we mine the JUCO ranks for a little linebacker depth and a DT and DE (as per usual).

Almost the entire two deep secondary comes back, Riddle and Derricott will come off of redshirts, the entire DL two deep comes back with the exception of Coleman, and we lose Mueller.

I bet we sign a class of 20-22, 17-18 are prep guys, and 4-5 are JUCO.

If I were a betting man, this is what I think we'll see:

1 OT
1 DT
1 DE
1 LB
1 CB (Probably lowest priority since we got Shelley)

I think Whitehair might be the most important recruit we have. If he goes pro we will need to go after 2 OT. Also think JUCO WR or QB is a possibility. I think level of talent is more important than position. Don't think we will see a TE, RB, S, CB JUCO recruit.
