After the Tech game can we expect a storm of JUCO offers? It has been really quite.
I don't think we take more than 3-4 this year. The heavy interest we've gotten from talented prep players has prevented that need.
I've got us right around 85 players on scholarship (I may be liberal and giving one too many). With a class of 18 seniors, and a recruiting class consisting of 12 guys (10 commits, 2 grayshirts), my guess is that we mine the JUCO ranks for a little linebacker depth and a DT and DE (as per usual).
Almost the entire two deep secondary comes back, Riddle and Derricott will come off of redshirts, the entire DL two deep comes back with the exception of Coleman, and we lose Mueller.
I bet we sign a class of 20-22, 17-18 are prep guys, and 4-5 are JUCO.
If I were a betting man, this is what I think we'll see:
1 OT
1 DT
1 DE
1 LB
1 CB (Probably lowest priority since we got Shelley)
