Hence the expression "happier than a pig eating crap."

That's not an expression.

 :ck:

What's funny is that I already put it in quotes. You can just copy/paste it right into google. JFC I hate our fanbase.
JFC.  Well, if I can find it through Google it must be true!

The expression is "happy as a pig in crap."  Ya know, cause pigs like to roll around in crap. I went ahead and put it in quotes for you.

Look at you, using search engines.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Hunter Davis commits. All kidding aside that his only other offer was Tulsa, this is not a bad player to get. 5.7 on Rivals.

The University of Tulsa football team lost a three-star commitment from its recruiting class.

Choctaw defensive end Hunter Davis told the Tulsa World on Sunday night that he had switched his commitment to Kansas State after visiting the Wildcats over the weekend.

Davis said he had been leaning toward K-State since former TU head coach Todd Graham announced he was leaving to become the new head coach at the University of Pittsburgh.

After he opened up his commitment, he received offers from Texas Tech, and Texas A&M.  Encouraging indeed.

I won't believe it's a victory until the fax comes in...and then only if the fax is signed.

Dante Barnett Committed
« Reply #1509 on: January 25, 2011, 12:42:03 AM »
Just noticed on Scout and Rivals that Tyler Lockett's teammate, Dante Barnett, just committed.  Rivals notes that he also received offers from Utah and Weber state. But that may be wrong because the Tulsa news outlet quoted Barnett saying that he only received on D1 offer, and that was Weber State.

ESPN has him listed as an athlete, while rivals/scouts has him as a Safety.

Just imagine the meltdown, if he chose Weber State over us!

It would probably be bigger than for the guys currently choosing Marshall or Western Kentucky over us.  :ohno:

Not to mention the guy who would rather play basketball at Washburn than fball at K-State!

CB from Blinn or journalist wunderkind?

Archippus Daily

Quote
Needing to quickly add depth has forced Jones and his staff to seek players from the junior college ranks.

One of those JUCO defensive backs is cornerback Kip Daily. The 6-0, 180-pound Blinn Community College product was deciding between Kansas State and Southern Mississippi, but SMU has recently tossed their hat into the mix.

“My top two are Southern Miss and Kansas State,” Daily told Rivals.com on Jan. 13. “I don't know too much about SMU right now since we just started talking.”

Daily has taken official visits to all three schools.
