I think everyone already assumed he was white when you mentioned the hesston v. hillsboro game he played in.

My small Kansas town geography knowledge is not great.  Are there any small Kansas towns with loads of black kids?  I mean those that are not simply greater Wichita area.

Loads? I guess comparatively speaking, its 4% black, pretty sure its never even reached 5%.

No you didn't, the census is real and it exists. I'm from GC. Liberal at best is 25% at the skill positions only. Even the basketball team was 50% black. I loved going to Liberal and the black kids who didn't play sports would boo me like I was some race traitor or something, it was hilarious.

Nicodemus is 100% black. It's also 100% tiny these days and don't think there is even 1 high school aged kid there.

Nicodemus is 50% black, the census is real and it exists. 26 blacks, 25 whites, 1 native on the 2000 Census. Youre right about how old it is though, the average age is/was 54 years old. I'd guess most unincorporated towns in farming areas average real old.

It's 100% black, dude. Maybe there are some people in the country that are near Nicodemus that claimed Nicodemus for the census, but the town is 100% black.

He was the guy that was tagging along with some other better LB guy.  Also plays LB and is better than anything we have on the field, but some seemed not interested in offering him as a package deal to get the other kid even though both would likely start next year for us.

Oh, cool.  I feel like we have a lot of LBs on scholly from the last 2 classes, I'm worried offering more might cause us to be thin elsewhere (like DT).  Is this concern legitimate?  Isn't Nick Ramirez supposed to be boss?  Will Davis looked good when in, so does Mike Moore.

when I was in HS the Hi-Plains league ran at about 1 black kid per 3 schools (at least that played sports). meade had the only asian kid on a basketball team though. really a melting pot that meade.

LOL at SD always talking about Meade. Everybody (including SD) knows that kids from Plains carry Meade HS athletics and basically run the whole joint in the Hi-Plains league.

Bill and Co. are not in recruiting mode, they are in "taking a nap and then maybe getting some taco bell, we'll let the players become adults and figure things out for themselves"-mode.

If they are recruiting, they are doing shitty shitty still by not getting Clarke, not wrapping up Beal, not gaining the attention of Sam Jones anymore, and are more than likely going to wing it when it comes to keeping Prewett/Adams. Also, there is an undervalued WR out of Blue Springs that we could easily snag - Darrius Shepard. Now, stop, you are complaining that we'll be overloaded with receivers. Nope, we need athletes. It's not like Snyder recruits players for their sole position anyways 

Deron Thompson (sp?) is waiting for an offer from Oklie Light more than likely, but I'll be damned if Seizure U(Minnesota) steals a KS recruit. Still perturbed they got Campbell last year '-.-
