Scuttlebutt out there is that if Baylor lands this kid, they won't offer Sharp as a QB.  If we were to get him, they'd probably offer Sharp as a QB.

It's highly doubtful that we'd get both.

To be honest, I'd rather have Sharp.  Cunningham has never even started for his team, and he'll be a SR this year.  Sharp has started for three years and has accumulated enough stats against good competition that he's probably a safer bet.

No doubt.  But Elway's kid quit football after his RS-FR year.

If the kid is an Olympic level High Jumper, I think the odds of him doubling for four years are probably less than we think.  He'd be a great fit here since we're High Jump U, but we don't want to lose him after one or two years because CR says he needs to focus on his HJ to make the 2016 Olympics.

I don't think we'll land him, so no excuses are necessary.  I'm just telling you that I feel Sharp is the safer bet for a number of reasons.  I didn't comment on their ceilings.

Also, if we land this stud, do we put in a bid for the 2016 Summer Games?  has it already been awarded?  Maybe they will undo it and give it to Manhattan because we are HJU?
