I'm sure he's interesting to speak with. He's had a very wide range of roles. From Norman Osborn in Spider Man 3 (one of the worst movies ever made) to John Geiger in 1997's Speed 2: Cruise Control (also one of the worst movies of all-time).

But then, in one career, like a chameleon, plays Max Schreck in Shadow of the Vampire (very average) and who can forget Sergeant Elias in Oliver Stone's Platoon (sucks)?

PW, did you like him in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou? Personally, I think Wes Anderson is overrated, but I enjoyed his use of Sigur Rós.

He was fine. Don't actually like or care about acting very much. But I'll need to rewatch most of his stuff, knowing what I know now.

Do like Anderson, but Tenenbaums is a peak which he'll probably never reach again. That's a good scene in Aquatic.

Acting only begins to become important when a Channing (sp?) Tatum or a Sandra Bullock is doing it...
