ku fans at my office pooling funds to place on the money line.
« on: February 14, 2011, 12:05:59 PM »
They have $2,500 collected so far and are getting ready to add more before they submit the bet.  Not only are they going to celebrate a meaningless victory but KSU is putting money in their rough ridin' pockets.  As it stands they'll win a little over $1,000 on this $2,500.   :flush:

Agreed.  We will do one of two things... win or lose horrifically trying to win, most likely the latter.

They have $2,500 on the money line and an additional $800 on the spread now. The books are apparently closed and now they are picking out victory cigars.

Sorry... Didn't really mean the books were closed just that they were done gathering up cash from the jayhawk filth running around here and had placed their bet.

Call HR and say gambling is against your religion and you are offended. Then, when they get fired and escorted out yell "fear the beard" at them.

I am pretty much with SD on this one.   A call to the Ethics Hotline is in order, tell them you were intimidated and offended by the workplace environment that was created by illegal gambling and a complete loss of productivity.

Have a full list of names prepared, tell them you'll be going to the EOC, Dept. of Labor and Local Law Enforcement if severe sanctions aren't put in place.
