By "Larry Brown was KU's Bob Huggins" I mean Larry Brown stayed at Kansas for 5 years and led them to 2 final fours with one ending in a national championship. Then he left them with Roy Williams.
Huggins stayed 1 year at KSU, went to the NIT, and left us with Frank Martin.
So Bob Huggins did maybe 1/5 as much for KSU as Larry Brown did for KU. Maybe. And we have maybe 1/5th of the basketball program that KU has. Maybe.
KU is "KU" because Larry Brown took that job. They talk about Naismith and Phog Allen and Wilt Chamberlain. It's bullshit. Larry Brown was Bob Huggins X 5. Without Larry Brown they would be on the exact same level as K-State.
THE HALL OF FAME DOESN'T HAVE TO WAIT BECAUSE LARRY BROWN HAS BEEN IN IT FOR 10 YEARS!
MAKE THIS crap HAPPEN!!
NO BRAINER.
One year. Two years. Who cares? It's Larry Brown.
