Heard him on with SSJ this morning.  He's a prick, sounds like he'd fit right in as a D-1 coach.  Would take.

And his N. Colorado turnaround is Wooly at Texas State. Meh.

Welp, that'll do it for me. SCREW YOU, Tad Boyle Accepters!

It's pretty disingenuous to compare Boyle to Wooly. Boyle took over a BCS team in a similar situation to K-State and got them into the NIT year one and the NCAA year 2. Wooly never even got us into the NIT.

Wooly didn't inherit NBA talent followed by a move to the worst "major" basketball conference in the history of mankind.

Tad Boyle would be awesome, but he's black and gold through and through.  No way they let him get away right now.

I'm still intrigued by Foxy, who's Georgia team lost by 2 in Boulder this year.  Actually Bilas said he's a good target for K-State.

Wooly did recruit NBA talent and still couldn't get his team to sniff the NIT.

If we hire Mark Fox that dumbstick guy's head would explode.

And that would be about the only positive thing that would happen if we hired Mark Fox.

Agreed on the Boyle/Wooly comparo.

Wooly had a very similar track record at all three of his stops.  All he had was that one good year at Texas wherever.  He sucked at La. Tech.

I don't think anyone can say that Boyle sucks at Colorado.  Three of his top five scorers this year were sophomores and freshmen that he recruited, and he's signed two Rivals 150 guys in both the 2011 and 2012 classes.

Boyle isn't bad.  He's not Frank in a lot of ways, but we really could do a lot worse.

And, yes, my bar is pretty low right now.  I fear a horrible hire more than an average one.  Given the current circumstance, after sleeping on it, I'd probably take Boyle and run.

He makes 700k at a school where they have to pay to fly people to tournaments so they'll have crowd presence.

If we offered him $1.5, he'd crawl on broken glass.

Not sure if this will help you guys, but maybe it will once you calm down a bit: be patient, let some things happen, you may feel better

let me guess. kstate AD is going to throw frank under bus and say all sorts of bad stuff and then replace him with a guy that won't do all that bad stuff. yeah...that's not going to make me feel better at all.

Look, I know you guys are upset. If you want to take it out on me, not gonna stop you. I will continue to post what I know and what I can say. I'm kinda limited as to what I can comment on right now without putting myself in a bad spot, so I'm sorry that I am vague here... Trying to talk some of you off the ledge -- there are some things that will/could happen that might change your opinions about everybody involved. I'm not taking anybody's side, I'm #teamkstate. And K-State will probably be better off no matter what.

I was kidding, seemed like an amazing place to make that reference.

I love you CC, but I just don't understand this. I would love for it to be true, but I just don't see it.
