I'd look at Dunphy at Temple as well

I'm against hiring coaches who have demonstrated no ability to win in the postseason. Dunphy is awful. He's 2-14 all-time in the NCAA tournament. Since 2000, he's 1-10.

Fair enough. I just saw that he made 8 NCAAs in 10 years as a head coach.

What about Tommy Amaker? He's done good things at Harvard.  It's got to be easier to recruit players to a University with much lighter standards and can actually give out basketball schollies.

Not only that, but he's very involved with the academic folks at Harvard.  He's kind of an egg head.

Which is totally cool.  If I made a crap ton of money coaching at Harvard and got to rub elbows with their faculty, it would be pretty elite.
