This guy really wants a job...

"I'm hungry as I've ever been to coach," he said. "I don't want to lose my confidence. We have a formula that can take a team to BCS bowls and compete for national championships. If I'm at the right school that gives you total support and is pulling in the right direction, I think we'll do that."

Though he did say his wife, Rita, is getting the house ready to be sold.

So we need a coach to build the future of our program, our current coach doesn't want to coach long term and probably can't live long enough to, and Rich Rod and Leach are literally begging for employment.   :goodbyecruelworld:

Dick Rod can definitely succeed here. Those who disagree need to take a look at the similarities between WVU and KSU. Michigan donors never seemed to want him, they seem like they literally want a reincarnation of Bo (in 20 years I bet KSU fans will act the same way towards Bill). Dick Rod brings excitement, a nice mobile QB that most fans would like, and winning.

Want, very badly. If you can recruit to Morgantown, you can recruit to Manhappiness. I'm telling you, Morgantown is a SHlTHOLE!!!
We are K-State and we love to hire SHlTTY coaches.

Like I've said before, if you think about Rich Rod is a perfect fit for a place like K-State.   IMO he would elevate our High School recruiting, and IMO he'd be an absolute terror on the Juco front.

Last time we hired a coach who had " a formula" he left town with a pocket full of money and a retired coach to calm the waters.   :horrorsurprise:

Every coach has a "formula" . . . you meant "binders".

You're right, we should never hire another coach again because of Ron Prince and just stick to the Snyder family(blood, not coaching tree)...

The thing that needs to be taken into consideration if you're John Currie is that our team, right now, is built for a Rich Rod offense.  We'll have the pieces in place.

I hope he's a candidate when the time comes.

Morgantown is a SHlTHOLE!!!

Dude Morgantown is anything but a shithole.  Always makes the top 10 list for party schools.  Bars do not check IDs, lots of hot chicks, and a pretty good school academically.

And when they celebrate, they take all of the furniture from their homes, put it in their front yard, and they set it on fire.

They know how to get down.

I want to own a furniture store in Morgantown now.  What do they burn in East Lansing?  They seem to riot a lot too.

Obviously, you've never been there. Do you know what one of the top party schools is in CA? Chico State. Ever heard of it? I didn't think so. Morgantown sucks... bad. It's in the middle of nowhere inbetween two big hills. Lots of classless white trash and biggots.

This.  I spent a year in Morgantown one weekend.
