Seems like we can work on his accuracy. Lots of juco kids come in with poor accuracy and improve with proper instruction.

If accuracy is his issue, then yeah. however it sounds like his arm issue is a strength issue. I have heard several QB's and QB coaches over the years talk about arm strength and motion/timing. Basically, it sounds like if you are mumped up from the beginning, it is near impossible to correct. so if his arm is weak, or his motion is horrible, then he will most likely suck as a throwing QB.

I'd just like to add that I HOPE Tuggle is good. All I am saying is that we had better not set our expectations too high.

Lol at the Tuggy Bear haters.... No way in hell he is worse than Carsy. He will be fine. If you think tuggle sucks as a quarterback, what do you think of sams? And imo, if tuggs is accurate from 10-20 yds then our offense will be fine. I do understand the concept of shy's away from contact..unlike some other guys......no names jtksu

Pretty much every QB improves his mechanics, arm strength, foot work, etc once they reach the D1 level. Hell, Tebow totally overhauled his delivery in one off season. I'd be willing to be that Tuggle will look much improved after 5-6 months of D1 coaching.

So QBs don't improve after high school? How are you even able to feedd yourself? Who changes your diapers? Surprised he has poor mechanics. You'd think with his family background and all. Even though his pops with a linebacker, he'd probably know enough about throwing mechanics or could find a coach/friend to teach justin proper mechanics.

Did you watch him throw at all this year? It was just as long and drawn out as it was in college. Definitely not the same throwing motion he showed off before the draft.
